Lost in Translation
I wasted $26.6667 today simply by doing OT. I missed my thai class. I had initially planned to skip it so that I can go home and get some rest to rejuvenate myself for my course assignment. Some last minute hiccups had forgone my resting hours traded with one thai class.
The way home certainly wasn't smooth-sailing as your head, eyelids and the laptop in your hands get heavier and along the way, you constantly get your feet stepped upon by aloof strangers who so dearly guard the diamonds and gold in their mouths --> no words of apology followed. My sorrows were amplified when a lady ah-choooed her repugnant saliva over. argh. disturbed!!
As expected, I failed to complete my course assignment once again. The last minute translation editorial job had taken priority due to its urgency. I was literally lost in translation, and I thought I was up to it. Thank god my parents had since our childhood days been stocking up on English-Chinese & Chinese-English dictionaries which came in so handy today.
Am motivated to go shop for the newest dictionaries which has all the newly invented words like "blogger" a.k.a."博客"!
