Unhappening Friday Night

Fridays ought to be more happening, shouldn't they? Especially so for those who slog over a 5-day week and their rest days coincides with calendar weekends. And that's me! This week's usual Friday routine is suspended as beh has to cover his hall concert. To make matters worse, my phone batt went flat causing me to miss Shawnie's mj invite! What a tragic! So in the end, dateless me had to head for home sweet home. Not a bad thing afterall as I merely clocked 4 hours of sleep last night after burning the midnight oil for today's presentation. The evening nap was refreshing!

I finally pulled through that nerve wrecking presentation today which marks the end of my 6-day course. It turned out that it wasn't as intimidating as it seems and I'm falling in love with the course topic I chose to "impart" to a group of fake trainees under a simulated setting. Photography! Not that I'm well-versed in it but because beh is an aspiring professional photographer, I've got an advisor to guide me along and it was great fun searching for pretty photos and facilitating the class's analysis of various shots for different photographic genres. Thank you beh for your Photography 101 class!

Overall, I thought this course was really inspiring and fruitful! In comparison to its inferior cousins, this course was more motivating and adds greater value. A pity it is over! No more free tea-breaks and lunch in school.. will definitely miss those cheesy sausages and strawberry milkshakes! No more excuses to miss meetings and deadlines at work.. boo. Attending courses is like a day off for me: it is a relaxed learning experience and there's no need to be guarded or to be on your toes 8 hours (12 hours for an unlucky day) a day lest the tigress pounces on you and rips you apart.

Weekend's here, let's party!
